My belly dance graduation. A dream come true. Something I have wanted to do since highschool. Finally I am officially.. Belly Dancer… Opa! The classes will continue as well as the skill. This is the best thing I have ever done for myself besides art. It’s exercise, silliness and amazing in one swoop!

I found this fabric several years ago at a Greek festival in Dallas. It is now coming to very good use. I am hoping to finish this by Saturday for another dress rehersal. :)
Shagrins.
This is a metal piece that resembles what I like to work on. Unique pieces. There are 3 layers of different types of metal that are rivetted together. Using copper, nickle silver and brass. I did a show over the summer which made me laugh - it was called tree of life. This is the name of this piece as well, which I named many years prior.
I am hoping to have a different studio in a few months that I can concentrate more on metal work and glass designs.

but it was dropped because they couldn’t get permission from the original creator
